Vor einiger Zeit kontaktierte mich Sony Deutschland mit der Frage ob ich an zwei Live-Events teilnehmen möchte.

Natürlich habe ich sofort zugesagt und konnte erneut die Sony Alpha 1 einsetzen - bei den beiden Sony Live-Events, der Sony Alpha Challenge und den Sony Alpha days.

Über die Sony Alpha Challenge, die Vorbereitungen dazu und den Einsatz der Kamera habe ich nun ein Video auf Youtube hochgeladen.

Zusätzlich möchte ich Euch hier noch einige meiner Lieblingsbilder von diesen Einsätzen zeigen.

Übrigens...das nächste Video geht dann über die Sony Alpha Days. Ein HIGHLIGHT für mich war hier die Fotografie der Erdmännchen...ich durfte alleine in das Gehege. Und das war wirklich spitze!

Some time ago, Sony Germany contacted me and asked me if I would like to take part in two live events.

Of course I accepted immediately and was able to use the Sony Alpha 1 again - at the two Sony live events, the Sony Alpha Challenge and the Sony Alpha days.

I have now uploaded a video on Youtube about the Sony Alpha Challenge, the preparations for it and the use of the camera.

By the way...the next video will be about the Sony Alpha Days. A HIGHLIGHT for me was photographing the meerkats...I was allowed into the enclosure alone. And that was really great!

Fangen wir mit dem Wildpark in Daun an.

Das Wetter war schlecht, es war duster und die Stimmung nass und kalt. Ich habe mich daher für ein kühles Grading mit vielen Blautönen entschieden. Das grüne Moos auf den Bäumen sollte aber trotzdem betont werden.

Let's start with the game park in Daun.

The weather was bad, it was gloomy and the mood was wet and cold. I therefore opted for a cool grading with many blue tones. However, the green moss on the trees should still be emphasised.

Weiter geht es zur Greifvogelstation Hellenthal.

Hier war das Wetter gut, allerdings war es sehr stürmisch und das Fotografieren der Vögel dadurch eine echte Herausforderung. Ein Besuch in Hellenthal lohnt sich auf jeden Fall!

We continue to the Hellenthal bird of prey station.

The weather was good here, but it was very stormy and photographing the birds was a real challenge. A visit to Hellenthal is definitely worthwhile!

Hier kann man schön sehen wie man die Originalaufnahme problemlos in den dunklen Bereichen aufhellen kann. Somit überstrahlen die hellen Bereiche nicht, auf die ich die Belichtungsmessung eingestellt hatte.

Here you can see how you can easily brighten up the dark areas of the original photograph. This way, the bright areas that I had set the exposure metering to do not clip.
